The empty houses in your natal chart are like empty rooms in your home – they're just waiting for you to come in and adorn them.

They come with a vibe, they have a story to tell, and they want you to unlock the door and start throwing some paint on the walls.

(Aka they have a zodiac sign, an area of life they activate for you, and all you gotta do is learn about them to start having fun with them.)

Imagine you have a home with 12 rooms, and each room is dedicated to a different sign of the zodiac (fun!) These are the houses in your natal chart.

rooms = houses

Each room comes with it’s own layout (window location, support walls, ceiling height, etc.) but you get to decide what belongs in each room, what to paint the walls, and what you do in each space.

The rooms that include planets and points have a lot more in them – you’re active in them on a pretty regular basis, and you know clearly what lives in them.

Your empty rooms, however, are the ones you know are there, but you don't visit that often. They have stuff that's accumulated in them, but you don't know exactly what that stuff is.

Spacious is your opportunity to go into these rooms, dig through what’s been waiting in there, and start to make the room your own.

let's decorate

An invitation to connect to the parts of you that get less attention.

The parts of you that are at work behind the scenes, the parts of your personality and life that are operating on auto pilot, and the parts of you that you know are there but don’t quite know how to speak to - yet. These parts live in your empty houses, and they're waiting for you to connect with them.

how you'll connect with them in spacious:

  • (01) You'll learn what empty houses are really – how to identify them in your chart, and how to know they’re actually empty.
  • (02) You'll discover what energy your empty houses come with based on your natal chart and what areas of life they describe – so you can start seeing them at work in your day to day life.
  • (03) You'll gain an understanding of how your planetary placements influence and describe your empty houses, and develop a guide for how your planets support you in developing a relationship to these spaces.
  • (04) You'll learn practices for how to work with transits through your empty houses – so you can continue to build a relationship to this part of yourself and life based on what the astro weather is encouraging for you.

Plus you’ll get access to a collection of astrology cheat-sheets for future reference, so as questions about your empty houses come up you have easy tools to help you answer them.

Here’s an example of what we’ll be doing in action:

Let's look at the empty 5th house in this chart – there’s no planets or points here helping define this area of life. In Spacious we would...

(01) Name the topics this house represents

The 5th houses speaks to creative expression, pleasure, fun, children, entrepreneurialism, your inner child, sexuality, hobbies and games, among other things.

This doesn’t mean this person doesn’t have these things in their life – it means they have more freedom to choose how they want to interact with this part of their life.

(02) Identify the style and energy these topics will show up with

The sign of Aries ♈︎ is on this house meaning that these areas of life are likely expressed in the style of Aries – with initiatory and instinctual energy, with a lot of drive and motivation, possibly competitive, and maybe even a little spicy.

This person likely creates from a lot of energy, but can only create when inspired or compelled by a forceful motivation.

That’s just a few of the layers we’ll get into in the workshop – this doesn’t even include (03) the location of the planet that rules this house or (04) transits through the house!! You see how there’s so much here to work with?!

okay I’m in

This is not an astrology workshop where I tell you who you are.

This is a workshop where you gain tools and language to access a more broad and nuanced relationship with yourself and your life.

Through Spacious you’ll start to look at parts of your life from an expanded lens.

When I started working with my own empty houses, I started discovering why certain parts of my life had been operating a certain way for years.

By learning the language to describe these areas of life – learning the house descriptions, zodiacal archetypes, and influencial planetary energies – I was able to claim conscious ownership of those areas via my new understanding.

Rather than being passive in some parts of my life – in the relationships that live there and the parts of me that show up there – I’ve become an engaged participant who can connect to what were once distant parts of myself.

I have more clarity for how to respond, how to make choices, and how to care for myself in spaces that used to feel foreign.

IN NEED THIS
CLAIM YOUR SPACE
Your entire personality is here for you to own, honor, and share, and there’s more of you to discover in your chart beyond the places immediately highlighted by your planets.

Get to know your chart as a whole – the “empty” spaces and all – and get to know all of you and what you hold within you.

A reminder of the less tangible (but equally important) outcomes from Spacious:

(01) a greater understanding of the areas of life you’ve had less access to and vision for

(02) language to describe parts of yourself you knew were there but couldn’t quite see

(03) an awareness of how to play and experiment with these parts of yourself and life moving forward knowing that they’re entirely open for you to have fun with

(04) a new level of confidence for interacting with these parts of yourself and life due to being able to see and know them more clearly
